I’ve said it before and I’m sure I’ll say it again and again and again… I looooooooove photographing weddings! Every time I’m fortunate enough to be invited to do so I feel the need to pinch myself. It’s just the most wonderful thing in the world. With Katie & Allen it was even a bit more special. Katie is an old and dear friend and I can’t begin to describe the honor at being chosen to photograph for her and Allen.
And what a wedding! Katie knew she wanted it to be about the kids. When we met to discuss her wedding photography she talked about how important the photos of the kids walking down the aisle were to her especially since she wouldn’t see them while she waited at the back. So we decided to switch it! Katie’s mom escorted her down the aisle first and then she and Allen welcomed their flower girls and rinbearers and bridesmaids and groomsmen into their open arms. It was absolutely beautiful!!!
Everything about this wedding was joyful… Mexico and a perfect day, champagne corks popped as they shared their first kiss, the kids throwing mini beach balls to welcome Katie & Allen to the reception… It was one big wonderful party!
