Tell us your favorite thing about your wedding… We loved how we had Gold Lake Mountain Resort and Spa all to ourselves for three days. Most of our families had never met before. It was amazing to have all the people we love laughing and bonding by a campfire, soaking in hot pools, and hiking. By the end of the third day, we all felt like a family that had known each other for years. We feel so connected to each others family now.
What was your favorite wedding photo? I’m not sure this is allowed, but even after a year I can’t pick my favorite picture. I love the ones of us on the rocky hill (almost killed myself climbing in my dress!), but I also love the one of us with the handcuffs because it reminds me of the great sense of humor that exists in our family! Sorry, you do too well of a job to pick a favorite!
What one piece of advice would you give a couple about to celebrate their wedding? Two days before your wedding assign one or two trusted people to handle any last minute details or crisis. Take this opportunity to enjoy and spend time with your friends, family, and soon to be spouse; not worrying about wedding details!
How are you celebrating your first anniversary? We are going to Spain.
What are you most looking forward to in the year ahead? We are hoping to start a family.
