Truly, I never do this. But when this contest came up I had an idea playing off of two classic photos for artistic inspiration. (One of which was this shot of Jim Henson and the Muppets.) I loooove the dog photography side of my business. Dogs are where I started more than ten years ago and now I also teach in Denver and my work is included in a Design Aglow Inspire Guide for dog photography. I pinch myself every day that this is where my journey has brought me and I am so incredibly grateful to and blessed by the gentle souls who have encouraged me along the way.
Sooo, when Miller’s announced their search for the next ‘We Are Miller’s’ ad I thought why not the dogs? Why not try to get a bunch in the studio and play? Of course, I totally underestimated how hard it is for me to be in front of the camera! My amazing friend Julie Harris came in to do the shoot and after an hour of mild chaos and a lot of laughs we got the shot for our entry. Thank you soooooo much to everyone who brought their little furballs in for the fun!
